Sustainability and circular economy

Companies are involved in the environment. From an apparently hostile and harmful situation, they have made a profit.

The most prestigious and leading companies in the world are involved with the environment and sustainable development. They are leading organisations that want to be ahead of the competition, who know and understand all the value that corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the ecological management of their resources can bring.

From a hostile and harmful situation, they can extract advantages, business, added value. In short, benefit.

Today, environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are aspects that different interest groups (Society, Public Administrations, among others) consider when choosing an option.

In recent years, there have been significant changes in environmental regulations. The emphasis is on preventing, reducing, and as far as possible, favouring the ecological use of resources, acting at the source. The principle of “who pollutes, pays”. There is pressure for companies to become sustainable. Sustainable tourism, sustainable construction, sustainable agriculture, in short, sustainable economy; this is what society demands.

Citizens, customers, Administrations and local pressure groups request information every day. Credit, image, and public reputation of companies grow with environmental programs because they demonstrate clear policies against global warming, gases that reduce the ozone layer, acidification, or to reduce the consumption of natural resources like water.

Aware of this, leading companies in all sectors are making progress in this area. They improve their organisation with strong environmental policies. ISO 14000, Carbon footprint, EMAS, Corporate or product environmental footprint are some of the improvements they have implemented.

The Administration supports them with financial aid and measures. The citizens too, selecting their products and services.

In , we design, develop and implement solutions in sustainability and circular economy since the nineties. We adapt our environmental consulting services to the needs and objectives of each organisation. We help companies that wish to comply with their legal obligations, those who have a vocation leader and want to be ahead of the competition.

The implementation and establishment of environmental consulting and circular economy projects generate trust and security among stakeholders. The client analyses and compares the products’ performance, technical characteristics and the price, but the environmental requirements are also relevant today, even decisive. They are a guarantee of good governance.

Companies with concrete environmental policies have better access to more restrictive markets and public tenders. The environmental product declarations (EPD) UNE-EN 15804 and UNE-EN ISO 14025: 2010 are relevant aspects of green public procurement in the General Administration of the State, the European Union and for evaluation schemes like LEED, BREEAM or GREEN. The good environmental governance in organisations generates a reduction in costs resulting, among other advantages, of optimising the use and consumption of energy, water or raw materials.

We develop environmental, sustainability and circular economy consulting projects. We are leaders in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Aragon, the Basque Country / Euskadi, Valencia and Extremadura, among other autonomous communities. We establish our engineering services and environmental advice with practical and straightforward solutions designed according to the organisation’s expectations, integrating and contributing to be more competitive every day.
